ART PROJECT @ TATTENHALL PARK PRIMARY SCHOOL

Tattenhall Gardening Society member, Debbie Nolan has started running an art project at Tattenhall Park Primary School, the aim of the project is to produce a piece of art that will be displayed at the show in September.

Debbie says:

“Over three days, I am going to be working with each class to produce a large collaborative collage/painting. This will initially be on display in the school hall and then in the Barbour for the Village Show. The theme will be flowers, trees and mini- beasts. Painted images of their class names…primrose, kingfisher, robin… will also be incorporated. Every child will contribute their work to the final image. It is our hope that through my visits I can inspire more children to take part in the village show itself or to visit with their families to see their artwork on display.”

Most of the materials for the project are being supplied by the school, although the society will chip in with extras where needed.  Many thanks to Debbie for giving her time and creativity to this fantastic community project!
