ABOUT

Tattenhall Gardening Society is along established society that aims to promote the enjoyment of gardening in all its many forms.

We have a programme of speakers at our regular monthly meetings which are held on the second Wednesday of every month from October through to April. The meetings are generally held in the Barbour Institute at 7.45pm (see EVENTS page).

Shown below are some flyers from previous talks.

A popular plant sale is held in May to raise funds and we organise visits to gardens, some of which are only accessible to group bookings.

Our regular activities culminate in the Village Show on the First weekend of September for anyone wishing to exhibit the fruits and flowers of their labours, including art, photography, baking, flower arranging and craft projects. All are welcome to enter and there are specific classes for children also (see show schedule).  It’s a wonderful village tradition.
